Brother CS7000I vs CS7000X This is an exceptional machine for beginners. I've been sewing for at least 60 years and have possessed machines costing up to $2,000, but this one is the finest by far. I am a firm believer in reading the instructions before proceeding, and I strongly recommend that you do so. You should be able to comfortably develop into this machine without any regrets. I like the concept of being able to sew without a presser foot while still being able to control your threads from the front of the machine. I enjoy being able to see when the bobbin is running out of thread, and I can also perform decorative patterns for you. It is peaceful, pleasurable, and portable enough to take to lessons or in my motorhome. I cannot emphasize enough how much I admire this computer; it is everything I could ever want. Please read the manual carefully. Any other use or sale of this product voids the warranty, as it is only intended for sale in the United States at 120 volts.
